Last night I had the honor of watching this incredibly poignant, relevant documentary called Embrace - ALL women should have the opportunity to watch it. Our culture of body loathing and body shaming has reached epic proportions globally. The Body Movement is on a worldwide quest to redefine and rewrite the ideals of beauty. As I sat there watching this film, I reflected back on what I learned in school...how the entire platform of my nutrition practice is based on making healthy and sustainable lifestyle changes, and not about diets and counting calories; working with clients so they feel happiest in their own skin. If you have two minutes and fifteen seconds, please take the time to watch the trailer...it's worth the watch.
